Four people were injured in an accident in the KwaMashu area on the M25 and M5 this afternoon. Reports from the scene indicate that a B M W collided with three people on the sidewalk of the M5 and the onramp to the M25 Kwa Mashu highway, the occupant from the B M W then ran down the highway to get away from the bystanders, but the community got hold of him and severely injured the man.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the Kwa Mashu highway and found two women and a man lying on the side walk of the M5 and a man lying about a kilometre away on the centre median of the M25, all of them sustained serious injuries.
After the injured were stabilised at the scene paramedics transported them to a local hospital under the constant care of advanced life support paramedics for the care that they required
