A 32-year-old-man is in a critical but stable condition after he was electrocuted at a business in Natal Road in the Paarden Eiland area in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics from the West Meropole arrived on scene and found the patient lying on the floor with first aiders performing CPR.
Paramedics immediately took over treatment, providing the patient with advanced life support interventions.
The patient’s vital signs vanished and returned over the next hour.
Paramedics continued their treatment and transported the patient to Groote Schuur Hospital for urgent medical attention.
The cause of the incident is not yet known.
