A construction worker was killed when the trench he was working in collapsed on him at the Westville site this afternoon.
His body remains trapped beneath the soil with only part of his head visible.
Netcare911 Paramedics, SAPS Search and Rescue Unit officers and eThekwini Metro firefighters are working to make the trench safe and remove the body. A detailed release will follow.
