A man is in a critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound on a small holding in the Boschkop area of Pretoria late last night at around 23h00. It is purported that the man heard a noise downstairs in the kitchen area. When he went to investigate the perpetrators shot and wounded him. The man returned fire and the intruders fled the scene.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived to find the man in a critical condition. They worked fervently to stabilise the wounded man and then transported him to the Netcare Unitas hospital for further treatment.
