A high speed accident claimed the lives of two men believed to be in their 30’s at around midnight along CR Swart road in the Kempton Park area. According to eyewitnesses two vehicles a mini and a Mercedes was racing down CR Swart drive towards the CBD when disaster struck.
One of the vehicles hit into the left side of a car traveling in the same direction. The errant driver then lost control, mounted the centre island and collided with a large tree. The mangled wreckage then hurtled into the oncoming lane and came to rest about 30 meters down the road on its side.
Netcare 911 and other services arrived on scene to find that the two male occupants of the Mercedes died in this horror smash due to the extent of their injuries.
