Pietermaritzburg ( Central ) Town Bush Road
A man to be in his late twenties has fatally been killed on the Town Bush road, near to Greys Hospital this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man lying in the middle of the road in a pool of blood. Advanced Life Support Intervention had to be performed on the patient. A full resuscitation was performed on the man but after a long battle the man died on the scene due to the traumatic injuries that he had sustained.
It is unclear if the man saw the car coming before he stepped into the road but the necessary authorities will be investigating the incident.
