A woman was badly assaulted today at her office in Wynberg. Allegedly the woman who was alone at the time was busy working at her office when she was ambushed from behind. The burglars allegedly entered the building by scaling the back wall before entering the office. Allegedly witnesses stated to the on scene paramedics that they saw the burglars fleeing the scene with a firearm.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene the woman had sustained minor injuries from being assaulted by a blunt object. Although she had only minor physical trauma she was understandably in a state of shock.
With calming words of sympathy and great understanding the paramedics managed to calm the woman before treating her physical injuries. She was then taken to a nearby hospital. The appropriate police authorities will be investigating the incident.
