Man’s Arm Severed in Machine in Brackenfell

er_banner
A thirty two year old man will lose the use of his left arm after it was severed off after it was allegedly caught in a factory machine in Brackenfell.

It appears that the man was rolling some sort of hard wood material through two rollers when his hand was pulled along and he was not quick enough to remove it. ER24 paramedics explained that it seems as though the man’s hand was first severely crushed, and then the arm was severed just below the elbow. They quickly attended to him, bandaging his wounds and keeping him calm until the Advanced Life Support Paramedic was able to manage his pain.

He was transported to a nearby hospital in a stable condition for further treatment of his wounds. Due to the nature of the wounds and extensive damage to the hand it is unlikely that any reattachment of the severed limb will take place.

The factory officials will be in charge of any investigations that would need to take place regarding the accident.
