Many residence of Vause Glen have lost everything due to a fire that broke out on the top floor of one of the apartments this morning.
It is believed that the fire started just after 9am this morning at a block of flats on Vause road in Morningside, Durban.
ER24 paramedics and Durban Fire Department arrived on the scene and found the top floor was in gulfed in flames and was spreading across to the next apartments. Everybody was evacuated from the scene, while Fire Department started to battle the fire.
Two men were treated for minor smoke inhalation but refused further medical treatment from paramedics.
The fire was detained to the third floor but massive damaged had already been done to the apartments.
It is unclear how the fire started but the necessary authorities were on the scene and a full investigation would be done.
