A roll-over accident of a bakkie on the R 707 between Senekal and Marquard left 4 people injured two children critically so this morning at around 08h30. Exact details to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police to investigate.
Paramedics rushed to the scene from Bethlehem and when they arrived found a 12 year old girl and her 10 year old brother in a critical condition while the two adults had sustained serious injuries.
Both children had to be ventilated on scene and after medics deftly immobilised them, they were transported to a private hospital in Bethlehem for the critical care that they required. The seriously injured adults were stabilised on scene and then transported to the same hospital for further treatment.
