A fire has left nearly 30 Kalkfontein residents homeless outside Kuilsriver in Cape Town on Saturday night.
Firefighters doused the blaze that ripped through about a dozen shacks.
Cape Town Fire Services spokesperson Mark Bosch said luckily no one was injured.
“We had 12 wooden iron structures that got burnt and damaged by fire. We ended up having 27 people being displaced. Most people have moved to live with family and friends,’ he said.
