A little boy has been seriously injured after an alleged attack by a dog at a private residence in Atlasville, Benoni.
At this stage it is not clear as to what provoked the dog to initially attack, but the two Boerbull dogs, one male and the other female, were house on the property. The female dog is believed to have been the one that injured the 2 year old little boy.
When paramedics arrived, they found the boy with his grandmother, and he had sustained deep cuts to the right side of his face. He was treated on scene before he was taken to the Life Glynnwood Hospital for further care.
