Worker flung from digger-loader

SOMERSET WEST 29 September 2011, 13:15

A serious incident occurred this afternoon on a wine farm in Somerset West.

A worker was driving a digger-loader on a steep embankment when the vehicle overturned onto its right side. The worker was flung form the vehicle onto the ground.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene concerned colleagues were already attending to the injured man. The 58 year old worker was complaining about severe back pain.
