[VEREENIGING – 17 NOVEMBER 2011 AT 17H00]
A golfer believed to be in his 60’s is in a critical condition after falling off a golf cart and allegedly hitting his head on the pavement this afternoon.
Fellow friends that were there contacted the emergency personnel to the scene, who found the man lying on the floor and in a critical condition. Paramedics expected that the man may have suffered a head injury and needed Advanced Life Support intervention to be performed on him. Once the patient was stabilised he was transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging in a critical condition where trauma staff were waiting to take over the medical care of the patient.
The circumstances around the man falling from the golf cart are unclear.
