A 19 year old motorcyclist has sustained severe injuries after a collisions between a car and his bike on Ontdekkers Road at Corlett Drive in Witpoortjie.
It appears that both vehicles were traveling along Ontdekkers when the head on collision occurred. The cause of the accident will need to be investigated and it is not yet clear as to who was at fault in the cause of the accident.
The young man was treated on scene for a severely broken leg and possible internal injuries. He was stabilised before being taken per ambulance to Life Flora Clinic in Constantia.
The driver of the Mercedes was not injured in the accident.
