Car collides with train near Delmas

DELMAS 10 April 2012, 16:30

A 39 year old female was fortunate to have sustained minor injuries only following a collision between a light passenger vehicle and a train near Delmas.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found that the front end of the light passenger vehicle had sustained significant damage. Fortunately the single occupant had sustained moderate injuries only.

Paramedics treated the female driver at the scene for suspected back and neck injuries before transporting her to a nearby medical facility for further medical care. The cause of the incident will be investigating by the appropriate authority.
