VEREENIGING 7 May 2012, 15:00

Two men sustained some injuries this afternoon following a collision at the corners of General Smuts and Springbok road in Vereeniging.

The cause of the collision is unclear at this stage, but a Mercedes Benz had partially collided head-on with a Toyota passenger vehicle. When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found that two men in the Mercedes Benz had sustained minor injuries.

The driver, aged in his 30’s, as well as the passenger, believed to be aged in his 50’s, had both sustained various scratches and bruises. Paramedics treated both men at the scene before transporting them to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further medical care.

None of the occupants in the Toyota sustained any injuries.
