My friend Alwyn Myburgh had the sickening experience of witnessing a head-on collision earlier this afternoon on the N1 South of Coleberg. Alwyn sent me these images of the accident scene shortly after the accident happened about 100m in front of him.
His version is that the Citi Golf appeared to drift across the road right in front of a truck and the truck tried to avoid the collision but was unable to do so. Miraculously the truck driver managed not to roll the truck which came to a stadstill in the veld next to the road.
