A man has died this morning after wooden cupboard tops fell on him in Reddersburg.
The cause of the incident is unclear at this stage, but the 42 year old gentleman was in his woodwork workshop when the stacking of wood fell on him. A bystander who rushed to his aid managed to move the tops off of the man.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found the man still on the floor. The gentleman had sustained severe crushing injuries and was unfortunately later declared dead at the scene.
Local law enforcement officials attended the scene and will be investigating the incident further.
