A worker believed to be in his early twenties who was fixing power lines in the Nottingham Road area has lost his life after been electrocuted this morning.
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene and found the man lying on the floor. Before they approached the man, paramedics with the SAPS made sure the scene was safe for them. They assessed the patient but unfortunately he had sustained very traumatic and fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene.
It is believed that the man was fixing power lines on Holly Farm when the incident took place. The SAPS will investigate the incident further.
