[BLOEMFONTEIN, FS – 17 AUGUST 2012 AT 09H00]
A female driver believed to be in early twenties has sustained moderate injuries after the car she was in collided into the back of a bus on Volkspelle Ave in Pellisier, Bloemfontein this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the car wedged underneath the bus with the driver still in the car. Paramedics assessed her and treated her for suspected neck and back injuries and minor cuts. The patient was extricated from the vehicle and transported to hospital in a stable condition for further medical care.
It is unclear what caused the driver to lose control but the necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
