[Isipingo, KZN – 25 September 2012 at 11H00]
A woman is in a critical condition after been knocked down by a taxi on Tiger Rocks Drive in Isipingo Beach this morning.
ER24 paramedics from Durban South arrived on the scene and found the woman off to the side of the road with her friends standing around her trying to help her.
Paramedics assessed her and found she had sustained very serious head injury and possible broken arm. Advanced Life Support intervention was performed on the patient before she was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
It is believed that the woman was walking in the road when the taxi come around the blind corner and knocked her over. No one was injured in the taxi.
