A man in his 30’s has been injured after he was knocked down on Lansdowne road this afternoon.
The man was getting out of his bakkie after he had parked at the side of the street, and he was then knocked down by another bakkie traveling down the road. The man had suffered a broken leg as well as multiple other injuries in the form of possible back and neck injuries and scrapes and abrasions.
Paramedics from the South Metropole area treated their patient for his injuries, providing him with pain relief and bandaging his injuries. He was then taken to Groote Schuur hospital in a stable condition.
The second bakkie stopped a short distance down the road, but fortunately no one else had been injured.
