A pedestrian believed to be in his fifties has sustained moderate injuries after he was knocked down by a motor vehicle on Main Road in Claremont, Cape Town is afternoon.
ER24 paramedics from Constantiaberg along with other emergency personnel arrived on the scene and found the man in the road and in a lot of pain. They assessed him and found he had a suspected neck and back injury and a suspected injuries to his shoulder. The patient was stabilised and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the incident further
