A 24 year old pizza delivery man has died this afternoon following a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Rondebosch.
The events leading up to the collision is unclear, but ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene to find the man knocked off of his motorcycle and lying in the road. The man had sustained various serious injuries.
The patient later stopped breathing and had no pulse. On scene paramedics initiated resuscitation efforts on the man, but to no avail as he was later declared dead.
None of the occupants in the other vehicle sustained any injuries in the collision. Local law enforcement officials attended the scene of the collision and will be investigating its cause further.
