A school boy on his way home in Sebokeng, has been killed after being struck by lighting while walking through a open area between residence this afternoon.
Emergency personnel arrived on the scene after they were contacted by the community about the incident. They found the young boy lying motionless on the ground. They assessed him and had already succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased on scene.
As per members of the community they saw the child being struck by lighting. The necessary authorities were notified of the incident.
