A man in his 20’s has been killed on the N12 after he was knocked by a car. The man was allegedly running across the highway between the Putfontein and Daveyton off ramps when the blue hatchback collided into him.
The details surrounding the incident are still not clear, but witnesses to the incident explained that the man had been running away from community members for some reason.
When paramedics arrived on scene, the man was lying in the road, and the windshield of the hatchback was smashed in. The young man had not survived his injuries and he was declared dead on scene.
The driver of the hatch was not injured in the accident.
