Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident scene Koedoespoort Industria area after a man was seriously injured.
When they arrived on scene they found the injured man lying on the floor. After assessing, treating and stabilising the man on scene, he was transported to the Netcare Moot Hospital for further treatment.
Reports from the scene indicate that the man was struck by a tyre and rim while he was performing his daily duties.
