A twelve-year-old boy was injured during a shooting at Golden Walk Mall in Germiston just before 12h00 today.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and found the injured boy on the ground.
After the boy was treated and stabilised on scene, he was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
Exact details of the incident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
