A man is in a serious condition after a side-impact accident on the R 614 Noodsberg Road in Tongaat this evening. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and remains a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a taxi had collided into the side of a light motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured and still seated remains of the vehicle with serious injuries.
After the patient was stabilized and skillfully immobilized on a trauma board , medics transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
