Two people were seriously injured in a rear-end accident on the N2 North near King Shaka Airport this morning at around 06h00. Reports indicate that a female had stopped in the emergency lane when a vehicle slammed into the rear of her vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that one of the vehicles had flipped onto its side after impact, both wreckages were obstructing the highway. Paramedics stabelised the two patients on scene, before transporting them to the Netcare Umhlanga hospital for the care that they required.
