A five-year-old girl is fighting for her life in a Durban hospital after falling one meter off a wall in L section Umlazi this afternoon. Reports indicate that the child was sitting on the veranda wall when she slipped and fell backwards, hitting her head against the concrete floor.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child unresponsive, after she was stabelised and deftly immobilized in a specialized device, they transported her to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
