An Audi collided into the passenger side of a Toyota which then collided into a third vehicle at the corners of Beatrix and Schoeman streets in Pretoria.
The impact into the side of the Toyota was so forceful, that the driver of the Toyota was so badly injured that he died at the scene. Paramedics found the man, believed to be in his late 30’s, still inside the vehicle and he was later declared dead.
The driver of the Audi was luckily not badly injured and along with the driver of the third vehicle involved, was assessed by paramedics on scene and both were found to have sustained minor injuries only.
The local police are still investigating the cause of this fatal accident and as to who was at fault.
