A collision between two passenger trains in Pretoria has left approximately seventy people injured. Reports from the scene are that the trains collided at around 07h20 near Church Street Pretoria and derailed.
Seventeen vehicles from Netcare 911 have arrived at the scene and found approximately seventy people injured one critically so.
Update on Pretoria train accident: after triaging they have established that there are three critically injured people, three that sustained serious injuries and approximately 100 that escaped with minor injuries. Netcare one medical helicopter is now airborne to the scene to assist with the critically injured.
