A forty-four-year old man sustained about seventy percent burn wounds over his body, after a chemical explosion at a company in Waltloo.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and skilfully immobilised, treated and stabilised the man before transporting him t he Netcare Pretoria East Hospital.
Exact details to the cause of the explosion will remain the subject of an investigation.
