An Eleven-year-old boy is in a serious condition after he was hit by a vehicle along North coast Road this afternoon at 15h30. Reports indicate that the school boy seems to have miss judged the speed and distance of the vehicle when he tried to cross the road near Effingham Road.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child lying on the roadway with serious injuries to the lower limbs. After he was stabelised on scene, medics transported him to Addington hospital for the care that he required.
