Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an incident in Costa Road close to the Magaliesberg this afternoon.
Upon their arrival they found that a forty-seven-year old man was attacked by a swarm of bees.
Paramedics treated and stabilised the man on scene before the Netcare 1 helicopter airlifted the man to the Netcare Milpark Hospital for further medical treatment.
