Crisis Medical paramedics responded to reports of an accident on the N2 North bound at Queen Nandi Drive at 11:25 this morning.
First on arrival, Crisis Medical established that two people were injured after two cars collided. Paramedics worked to stabilise the injured by full immobilising them to prevent any further injury before transporting the injured by ambulance to Ethekwini Hospital for further medical care.
From on scene reports it is suggested that an errant driver strayed from their designated lane causing another vehicle to collide with them. Traffic on the national freeway was severely affected.
Local law enforcement were on scene to investigate the incident.
