A 1 year old little boy remains in a critical state in ICU in Mediclinic Milnerton after he is believed to have almost drowned in a residential pool yesterday evening.
The boy was allegedly found in the pool by his parents at around 7pm where they pulled him out and the mother said they performed CPR on the child and called the paramedics. When the paramedics arrived the little boy was breathing but he would require further urgent medical care.
Under treatment by the Advanced Life Support paramedic, the boy was stabilised and taken through to Mediclinic Milnerton by ambulance where he remains for medical care.
