Crisis Medical paramedics responded to a collision at the intersection of Northway and Romsey Grove at 08:15 this morning in Durban North.
First on scene, paramedics found that a 30 year old female had sustained serious spinal injuries. Great care was taken to fully immobilised the patient to reduce any further injury before transporting her by Crisis Medical ambulance to Ethekwini Hospital for further medical treatment.
From on scene reports it is believed that an SUV travelling north on Northway entered the intersection and then collided with two other vehicles.
Local law enforcement authorities were on scene to investigate the exact cause.
