A gentleman believed to be in his late forties is in a serious condition after accidentally cutting his leg with a chain saw at a residence in Hillcrest this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived in the scene and found the man being treated by fellow workers. The paramedics assessed the patient and found he had a traumatic injury to his left leg. Advanced Life Support intervention was performed on the patient before he was transported to Hillcrest Private Hospital for further medical care.
The man was cutting down a tree when the incident took place.
