Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an incident at a public swimming pool in Garsfontein, Pretoria this afternoon.
Upon their arrival they found that a woman believed to be in her fifties slipped and fell while playing in the pool. The lady sustained serious injuries.
After the woman was treated and stabilised on scene, she was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
