Just after 7am this morning Rescue Care Paramedics were called to Manning Road near the scooters for a bike accident.
On arrival paramedics found that a bike and a car had collided. The injured biker was found laying next to his bike in severe pain. The patient was stabilized before being placed on a specialized board to prevent further injury before being transported by Rescue Care to St Augustine’s Hospital for further care.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
