A six-year-old girl is fighting for her life after she was hit by a vehicle on the Umhlali link Road this afternoon at around 14h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding evens will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child in a prone position on the roadway with life threatening injuries. After she was placed on a ventilator and deftly immobilized on a trauma board, medics transported her to the Stanger Provincial hospital for the care that she required.
