Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident at the intersection of Atterbury Road and Lois Road in Menlyn, Pretoria this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a light delivery vehicle had overturned resulting in one of the occupants sustaining serious injuries.
After the injured person was treated on scene, paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of an investigation.
