Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the R59 south bound near Highbury this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a vehicle overturned. There were three occupants in the vehicle and one of them sustained critical injuries and one sustained serious injuries.
After the injured people were treated on scene, they were transported to nearby medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of an investigation.
