Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N17 in Nuffield, Springs this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus and motor vehicle collided resulting in nine people being injures, including three children. Five people were seriously injured and four sustained moderate injuries.
After the injured were treated on scene, they were transported to nearby medical facilities for the care that they required.
Exact detail t the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject f a police investigation.
