Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on the N17 near Ergo Road in Brakpan this morning,
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a pedestrian was knocked over by a motor vehicle but sadly died on the scene due to the extensive injuries sustained. Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for the pedestrian.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
