Two people were seriously injured after their house burnt down in Belvedere Drive Tongaat this morning at around 09h30. Exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found firemen working fervently to extinguish the blaze. Medics found two females one 70 and one 30 with minor burns and smoke inhalation, after the patients were stabelised on scene, medics transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
