A man is fighting for his life in a Johannesburg hospital after he was struck on the head with a brick in Diepsloot this morning. Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment.
Netcare 911 advance Life support paramedic arrived at the scene and found the man in his thirties lying unresponsive on the ground. The Netcare one medical helicopter was activated to assist ground crews with the injured man. After he was placed on a ventilator and deftly immobilized on a trauma board, they airlifted the critically wounded man to the Charlotte Maxeke hospital for the care that he required.
